ITINERARY

Day 1 - Dubrovnik, Croatia

Arrival in Dubrovnik
Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, our Dubrovnik office team will meet you at the airport, assist you in your check-in process, and shuttle you to your Dubrovnik hotel. After your check in, you will meet rest of your group, including your Yoga & Tantra instructors and tour manager, at the hotel lobby for a welcoming meeting and cocktails. There will be sharing of program details, scheduling of Yoga and Tantra sessions, and time for questions and answers.

NOTE – THE GENERAL TIMING FOR OUR TOURING DAYS IS AS FOLLOWS:

  • 07:00 – 8:30 am: Morning Yoga & Tantra Session.
  • 08:30 – 9:30 am: Breakfast in the hotel.
  • 10:00 – 1:00 pm: Sightseeing, Touring, etc.
  • 1:00 – 2:00 pm: Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • 2:15 – 6:00 pm: Sightseeing, Touring, etc.

Day 2 - Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik
After breakfast, we will tour the magnificent city of Dubrovnik with our local guide and see the historic stone walls built to protect the city from foreign invaders. Considered one of the greatest fortification systems of the middle ages, these ancient walls with their numerous additions and modifications made throughout the ages were never breached by invaders. Featured sights we will see today include the Franciscan Monastery, Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace, the Assumption Cathedral, Onofrio's Fountains, the Church of Saint Blaise and others. After the tour, we will lunch at a local restaurant. There will be free walking time in the old city of Dubrovnik. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Dubrovnik.

Day 3 - Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik - Mostar - Dubrovnik
After breakfast, we depart from Dubrovnik to Bosnia and Herzegovina for a visit to the town of Mostar. Historic Mostar spans a valley of the Neretva river, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town during the Austro-Hungarian period of the 19th and 20th centuries. The old bridge area, with its pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean, and western European architectural features, is an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement. The famous old bridge of Mostar, a UNESCO heritage site, is also considered one of the most exemplary pieces of the Islamic architecture in the Balkans. We’ll lunch in a local restaurant and return to our hotel in Dubrovnik for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - Dubrovnik, Croatia

Dubrovnik - Trogir - Split
After breakfast, we depart from Dubrovnik to Trogir. On arrival in Trogir, we will meet our local guide to visit the historic stone city, which is also a UNESCO heritage site. The orthogonal street plan dates back to the Hellenistic period. The entire city of Trogir is constructed of stone, including beautiful Romanesque churches, and outstanding Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period. We also will visit The Cathedral of St. Lawrence (St “Love”), to see the beautiful Kamerlengo tower and especially Radovan's masterwork, the main portal of the St.Lawrence Cathedral, considered the greatest and most important monument of medieval sculpture in Croatia and in all of the Balkans. We’ll have a unch break in a local restaurant and proceed to Split for a city tour.
Split is a city of ancient history, built and preserved over the course of 1700 years by its loving inhabitants. We will be walking the maze like streets of Split and visit the Diocletian Palace, the most precious monument in the city. Diocletian Palace is one of the most significant original structures of the late ancient architecture, an imperial palace listed in UNESCO's world heritage registry. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Split.

Day 5 - Split, Croatia

Split - Zadar
After breakfast at our hotel in Split, we head to Zadar. On route, we will be visiting a lively ethnic village named Pakovo Selo. Locals will be greeting us with Dalmatians, a sacred welcome ceremony that includes telling stories of their ancestors and history, and we will see and learn about Dalmatian customs and tradition. We’ll visit Dalmatian stone houses, learn about their traditional tools and utensils, learn how households were run, and experience traditional Dalmatia. Lunch will be in the village. Following lunch, we proceed to Zadar. Our local guide in Zadar will show us around this most beautiful of old Dalmatian cities, which has been the capital in this part of the Adriatic coast since Roman times. At every corner of the city, you will see the rich heritage of it’s old world importance, including the Roman Forum, St. Donatus’ Church, the reconstructed Romanesque St. Grisigono’s Church, St. Mary's bell tower and St. Anastasia's Cathedral. We also will visit The Sea Organ, an architectural object and an experimental musical instrument which plays music by the action of sea waves using tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Zadar area.

Day 6 - Zadar -Croatia

Zadar - Plitvice - Opatija
After breakfast, we travel to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, listed in UNESCO world’s heritage since 1979. This nature wonder encompasses 16 lakes which are connected throughout 92 waterfalls, surrounded by rich vegetation and large forests, making it a perfect habitat for a variety of flora and fauna. Following a walking tour, we will lunch in a local restaurant, have free time and proceed to Opatija. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Opatija.

Day 7 - Opatija, Croatia

Opatija - Istria Tour (Pula & Rovinj) - Opatija
After breakfast we depart to the Istrian peninsula, a place of natural beauty, cultural heritage, beautiful vineyards and world famous olives. Istria is definitely one the loveliest and most beautiful landscape in Croatia. At our first stop is Pula we will meet our local guide and visit the ancient Roman Amphitheater (The Pula Arena), dating back to the 1st-century AD. Later we will visit The Pula Cathedral, or the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (in Croatian: Katedrala uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije). Along with the Euphrasian Basilica, it is one of the two official seats of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Poreč and Pula. Then we’ll walk to the Temple of Augustus, a well-preserved Roman temple in the city of Pula, Croatia. Dedicated to the first Roman emperor, Augustus, it was probably built during the emperor's lifetime at some point between 27 BC and his death in AD 14.
After lunch in a local restaurant, we will continue our trip to the medieval town of Rovinj, characterized by its baroque and renaissance styles. We will walk through the narrow and picturesque streets of the old town over the path of polished stone steps, leading up to the church of St. Euphemia, the patron of the city. Return back to Opetejia for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - Opatija, Croatia

Opatija - Zagreb
After breakfast, we travel to from Opatija to Zagreb. In Zagreb, you will see the main attractions featuring the upper town; displaying a cozy and distinctly medieval ambiance, including the church of St. Mark with its multi-colored roof, the stone gate, traditional market, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre, and the Main Square. We’ll lunch in a local restaurant, have some free time and dinner; overnight in the hotel in Zagreb.

Day 9 - Zagreb

Zagreb - Bled - Ljubljana - Vienna
After breakfast, we head to Vienna, the capital city of Austria. Along the way, we will stop in Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia, which lies in a basin between the karst and the alpine region at 298 meters (approx. 1,000 feet) above sea level. We like to say it is sufficiently large to contain everything that a capital should have and small enough to preserve the individuality of its inhabitants. Ljubljana is a city with a soul, evidenced by the baroque old town, which is nestled at the foot of castle hill, the art nouveau mansions, not to mention the masterpieces of the world-renowned architect Jose Plecnik. Modern day Ljubljana is the political, cultural, scientific and academic center of Slovenia. After lunch in a local restaurant, we drive to Lake Bled, one of the most beautiful Alpine Resorts, a pearl of Slovenia and the whole Alpine region. We will visit the St. Mary's church that is located in a small island in the middle of the lake. Afterward, we visit an old medieval castle up on the cliff that offers you an amazing view and is definitely something you will be enchanted with. We then travel on to Vienna. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Vienna.

Day 10 - Budapest

Vienna
After breakfast we meet our local tour guide. We will be visiting Ringstrasse, which is The Ring Road that circles the grand boulevard, serving as a loop around Innere Stadt, the historic  district of Vienna. We then continue to the Vienna State Opera House, an Austrian-based opera company based in Vienna, originally called the Vienna Court Opera (Wiener Hofoper). In 1920, with the replacement of the Habsburg Monarchy by the First Austrian Republic, it was renamed the Vienna State Opera. The members of the Vienna Philharmonic are recruited from its orchestra. After lunch in a local restaurant we will continue our day visiting the Hofburg, the former imperial palace in the centre of Vienna, Austria. Built in the 13th century and expanded in the centuries since, the palace has been the seat of power of the Habsburg dynasty rulers, and is today the official residence and workplace of the President of Austria. It was the principal imperial winter residence, as Schönbrunn Palace was the summer residence. Return back to our Vienna hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 - Budapest

Vienna - Budapest
After breakfast, we check out from our hotel to head to Budapest. After lunch in a local restaurant at Budapest, you will have free time to enjoy the city of Budapest. We check in to our hotel in Budapest for dinner and overnight.

Day 12 - Vienna

Budapest - City Tour
After breakfast we have a sightseeing tour of Budapest with a local guide. You will visit the Chain bridge, Margaret bridge, Buda castle, Matthias church, and Fishermen’s bastion. Then on to the Citadel for exquisite panoramic views of Budapest, and the ideal spot for taking memorable pictures. We’ll visit market hall, the largest market in the city, for sightseeing and shopping, and go on to the Dohány Synagogue, one of the most significant synagogues in Europe, constructed in the 1850‘s. Its style influenced that of later synagogues, most notably New York City's Central Synagogue. We will stop for a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant, then be on our way over to the city’s central park, the Heroes’ Square & Andrassy avenue, the opera house, and St. Stephen's Church. Finally, we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 13 - Vienna

Budapest - Prague
After breakfast, we check out from our Budapest hotel to head to our next city, Prague. On the way, we will enjoy a short visit in Bratislava. Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, is set along the Danube River by the border with Austria and Hungary. It’s surrounded by vineyards and the Little Carpathian Mountains, crisscrossed with forested hiking and cycling trails. The pedestrian-only, 18th-century old town is known for its lively bars and cafes. Perched atop a hill, the reconstructed Bratislava Castle overlooks old town and the Danube. After Lunch in Bratislava, we continue driving to Prague. Before check in to our hotel, we’ll have free walking time in Prague city center. Check in our hotel at Prague for dinner and overnight.

Day 14 - Prague

Prague - City Tour
After breakfast, we meet our local guide in the lobby to start our city sightseeing tour. We begin by visiting the old town square with the statue of the Czech reformer Jan Astronomical, then our bus will drive through the high-end shops in the Jewish quarter, formerly the Jewish Ghetto, then on to Wenceslas square, the main square in the new town, and into the little quarter and the Prague castle area. Once there, you will hop off the vehicle and continue a walking tour through the castle and the cathedral. On the other side of the walls, you will find yourself back in the Old Town where you will stop by the Clementinum, the State library of the Czech Republic, the coronation route of the kings, and back to the old town square to experience a medieval world wonder: the Old Town Astronomical Clock!
Every hour, hundreds of tourists from all over the world with cameras at the ready, gather in front of the Old Town Hall to enjoy a fascinating mechanical performance of the Prague Astronomical Clock, considered since the middle ages to be one of the wonders of the world. For 600 years the clock has been one of the greatest treasures of the city, and still amazes people with its procession of Apostles, moving statues, and visualization of time. It’s like no other instrument in the world. Return back to our Prague hotel for dinner and overnight.

  • Once a deposit or partial/full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received. In addition to a $250 per person administration fee, the following charges apply.
  • 60+ days prior to departure 100% of total tour price.
  • 31 - 60 days prior to departure 50% of total tour price.
  • 30 - 15 days prior to departure 80% of total tour price.
  • 14 days or less prior to departure no refund.
